Yoga is the science of postures

To hold the body in certain positions with full awareness can have an impact in your consciousness.
Yoga is a very powerful way to bring balance to your body, mind and emotions, and it needs to be done properly to have those positive results.
Yoga comes from an ancient tradition of masters and sages, Sadhguru is a master of nowadays, under his guidance and transmission we teach a specific sequence of postures or asanas, with enough precision and care.
To practice Yogasanas like this will bring all the positive benefits and it is safe so everyone can do it, if you are 14 years old or more, and have not had a major surgery in the last 6 months or any serious injury, you can do Yogasanas.
If you are pregnant also you cannot practice this sequence of Yogasanas, but you can learn the Pregnancy practices which are specific.
Besides that you just need to have a strong intention to know more about the nature of life, to invest the time of one weekend to attend the Yogasanas workshop to learn, and then organise your schedule to offer yourself one hour of practice in your daily life, at the beginning it requires commitment for the first weeks to get to taste the
benefits of the practice and then it becomes a pure moment of bliss that you will offer to yourself.
When you practice the asanas your system gets aligned in body, mind and emotions, and you will feel a natural joy that will also spread around you.
To be consciously joyful is the best gift that you can offer to yourself and the people that you love.

Yogasanas – Postures to elevate your consciousness

The word asana literally means a posture. Out of the innumerable asanas a body can assume, 84 have been identified as Yogasanas, through which one can transform the body and mind into a possibility for ultimate well-being. Yogasanas are not exercises, but rather very subtle processes to manipulate one’s energy in a particular direction.
